1. Schedule follow up appointment for Final Measurements & Product/Color selection if necessary
2. Request a copy of your final order for review & signature online
3. Pay a 50% deposit on your order, via cash, check, ACH, or secure credit card link online
4. We will place orders within 3 days after receiving both signed invoice & deposit
5. We will communicate status updates & reach out to schedule installation once we receive the products
4. What to expect after placing an order
Blinds & Shades typically take 5 weeks to be installed & Shutters between 5-12 weeks to be installed. Please remember everything is custom made, thus, all sales are final. No exceptions. Time estimates are subject to manufacturers ability & accessibility to necessary material & components. Made in the Shade Blinds & More Raleigh is not responsible for delays due to material outages, back orders, discontinued items, &/or shipping delays. We make every effort to ensure a timely install. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES ON TIMELINE & WE DO NOT SCHEDULE INSTALLATION UNTIL WE PHYSICALLY RECEIVE THE PRODUCTS.
Cordless blinds are more susceptible to light leaks at the bottom along with not closing as tightly as corded blinds. If you think either will be an issue for you, please consider another product as all sales are final once ordered
Room darkening/black out shades are not 100% room darkening. All products will have light leakage. Some manufacturers offer a product known as light guard which can help w/this & can be ordered for an additional charge-you must notify us before we place the order. Light guard will not eliminate all light. Roller & solar shades will have a gap on each side as the fabric is narrower than the headrail. If you think this will be an issue, please select another product as all sales are final once ordered.
Natural shades, sometimes known as Woven Wood Shades, are made from materials naturally grown and harvested. Some variations in shape, thickness, texture, & grain are to be expected. Colors may lighten or darken due to sunlight or other climatic conditions. Roman shades are prone to wrinkling, shrinking, and/or expanding over time. Depending upon the fabric, the wrinkles may continue to come back depending upon how the shade is operated & the fabric, humidity, etc. If you think this will be an issue, please consider another product as all sales are final once ordered

Full invoice payment is required to activate all warranties. BALANCE IS DUE AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION FOR THE PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED – NO EXCEPTIONS
Custom window covering orders must be canceled within 3 business days of the order date or amended order date to receive a refund minus any credit card processing fees that we incur. Custom window coverings may not be returned after the three day right to cancel time period has lapsed. Once we have a signed copy of the order along with deposit, we will place the order after the three business days have passed.
For one year after the date of installation, in the event of defect in product or installation, Made in the Shade Blinds & More Raleigh will provide free of charge, parts & service for window coverings installed by Made in the Shade Blinds & More Raleigh. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling and maintenance by the customer, loss of color intensity due to exposure to sun, or normal wear & tear. After 1 year, we will continue to service the products we have installed, which may still be under factory warranty, with a service call fee. This fee will depend upon the scope of work done. At installation, we will explain the proper operation of each product. Please make sure to be present & available at installation so that you understand proper operation of each product. We are not responsible for damage due to customer mishandling, so we encourage you to be present at installation.
For motorized window coverings, Made in the Shade Blinds & More Raleigh will provide & change the batteries 1 time as a courtesy to our clients. Additional battery changes will incur a service charge along with the cost of the batteries.
4.) What is your warranty policy?
Made in the Shade Blinds & More Raleigh offers a 1 year labor warranty on all products sold & installed. Our manufacturers stand behind their products & we stand behind our installation service. Many of our manufacturers carry limited lifetime warranties, which we will service on their behalf.
